Artist-in-residence Joseph DeLappe has installed his sculptural work Liberty Weeps In the lobby of Grand Central Art Center. Built onsite as a commissioned project for ManifestJustice, a pop-up exhibition held in Los Angeles in May, the work is collaboration between curator Yosi Sargant, sculptor/designed Charlie Becker and DeLappe. The project is a response to the current state of “truth, justice and liberty” in the United States.
Joseph DeLappe is a professor of studio-based practice at the University of Nevada, Reno.
