Amy Caterina

"This used to be real estate, now it's only fields and trees.":

We have been doing residencies at GCAC since 1999. We have hosted 32 artists so far and our current artist is a graduate of CSUF. This is the first time we have hosted one of our own. Amy Caterina is creating an installation that will be featured in the Project Room July 5- August 24, 2008. She is currently working out of the studio creating work for the installation which will be a combination of video projections, knitted environment and interactive website elements. Amy will also be presenting a series of workshops in July and August for the public to participate in. Please see information below.

ART FORUM SPEAKER SERIES at Santa Ana College is a weekly lecture series for noted artists, painters, sculptors, architects, ceramicists, art directors, art collectors, critics and writers to discuss their work. Inaugurated in 1979 by Founder, the late Professor Gene Isaacson, 1936-2005. ART FORUM is the longest running college art lecture forum in Orange County. The ART FORUM Quarterly Magazine is the only publication of its kind published in Orange County. It highlights the featured artists and architects, offering insight and perspectives on their work and experiences.
