Grand Central Art Center: Watermark Printmaking Workshop

For ten years master printer James Lorigan ran the business of Watermark Printmaking Workshop out of the shop located at Grand Central Art Center in Santa Ana. Lorigan, Matthew William Miller and Andrea Harris have printed for artists such as, Sandow Birk, Anaida Hernandez, Mark Ryden, SHAG, Peter Zokolsky, Manuel Pardo, Bill Burns, Jeffrey Vallance, William T. Wiley, Mary Hull Webster and many other exceptional artists.

The partnership of Watermark Printmaking Workshop current owners Matthew William Miller and Andrea Harris began in 2009 formally, but for eight years prior Matthew was working as James Lorigan’s printmaking assistant and Andrea Harris was the director of the Grand Central Art Center and coordinated printmaking projects for the Grand Central Press.

Matthew, is now Watermark's master printmaker as well as print project manager with many years of professional experience. Andrea, co-manages projects, runs the publishing and art gallery arm of the business and is the business contact for quotes and information.

Watermark has worked with the Grand Central Art Forum, Grand Central Art Center and Grand Central Press. We have recently published work with artists Alex Grey, Allyson Grey and Laurie Lipton in 2009 and 2010 along with various private clients.

Watermark offers printmaking, book publishing and graphic design services and opportunities to artists and private clients. We also will be offering workshops beginning Summer 2011 and will be opening the art gallery portion of Watermark in the Spring of 2011 for those interested in adding to their art collections or starting one.
